About Volunteers in Andhra Pradesh : Honorable Andhra Pradesh State’s Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the secretariat system for every Villages, Wards, Municipality areas entire State. There are founded around 15000 Secretariats in AP State. Each Secretariat has few Staff with Volunteers. Each volunteer is responsible for around 50 households, identifying beneficiaries of welfare schemes and ensuring services like pension, ration etc. are delivered. They receives the usual volunteer’s honorarium of Rs 5,000 a month.
Qualifications for Volunteer : A person who qualified atleast 10th Class, Age between 18 and 35 Years, same Ward/Panchayat resident with Integrated caste certificate for other than OC are eligible to apply for AP Volunteer post.
